No Fabric Softener, No Problem!
If you have allergies to fabric softener or you run out, here's a quick and wonderful little tip:
Add 1/4 C. White Vinegar to your fabric softener dispenser during the rinse cycle. Dry as usual. You won't smell the vinegar and your clothes won't stick to your legs... among other things. If it doesn't work, add a bit more next time. You may need to add more or less, depending on your washer size and load size.

My Mom's Favorite Hair
Pre-Wash Treatment

1/4 C Mayonaise
1/2 Avocado
1/4 C Coconut oil
3-5 drops ylang ylang essential oil

Mash or blend all ingredients then wet your hair. Apply mix to towel dried (damp) hair, massaging into the scalp. Cover head with a shower cap and leave treament on for 20 minutes. Shampoo with castile soap. Rinse with Vinegar solution.

Vinegar Solution for Hair Rinse
1 Tbs. Apple Cider Vinegar
1 C. Distilled Water
2-3 drops essential oil of choice

Homemade Deodorant
1 Tbs Baking Soda
1Tbs Arrowroot Powder
A few drops of olive oil (to make a paste)
8 drops essential oil of choice

Spread it under pits with fingertips. Use more arrowroot if it is too abrasive to start. However, your pits will get used to it and soon you won't go back to the store bought goo.
